Care: Easy to care for.
Light: Full sun will give the best blooms! If inside use a south facing window. If you give your duranta plant shade it will likely get lanky and sparse.
Water: Make sure to provide your duranta with good drainage. Watering requirements are moderate. Water when the top of the soil feels dry.
Temperature: Bring on the heat. Duranta’s love warm, and even hot, weather. However, make sure to bring your plant inside once the temperature drops under 40F. Keep it away from any drafty doors or windows.
Humidity: Duranta plants like humidity, but they also tolerate and can even thrive in dry conditions.
Feeding: Fertilize during warmer months and stop once winter comes. Start fertilizing again once the temperature reaches 60F close to spring.
