Quick Care Instructions for the European Fan Palm
Light: 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight is preferable, however this palm can tolerate partial shade as well.
Water: The European fan palm prefers moist soil. Over fall and winter, water when the top 2″ of soil are dry to the touch. It is drought tolerant once established.
Temperature & Humidity: 70 to 80F during the day and evenings of 50 to 60F are ideal temperature ranges. Cold hardy to 10F. Humidity levels preferred are 40 to 50%.
Feeding: Fertilize monthly during spring and summer.
