Welcome to Our Shipping Guide
At our tropical plant nursery, we understand that your plants are precious cargo. We've perfected our shipping process to ensure every plant arrives healthy, vibrant, and ready to thrive in its new home. Our expert team carefully packages each plant with protective materials and ships them at optimal times to minimize stress during transit.
Every order ships directly from our Florida nursery using FedEx Ground, which we've found to be the most reliable option for getting your plants delivered safely and on time. After testing multiple carriers, FedEx continues to give us the highest success rate and the happiest customers.
Where We Ship
We currently ship to all 48 states in the continental United States, excluding California. Our plants are shipped from our nursery to ensure they're fresh and healthy.
Please note: Due to agricultural restrictions, we cannot ship to Hawaii, Alaska, California, or international destinations at this time.
Shipping Costs
Our shipping rates are calculated based on order total. We offer competitive rates to ensure your plants arrive safely without breaking the bank.
Orders Under $100
Orders under $100 ship for a flat rate of $10.
Orders Over $100
We offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $100.
Heat Pack Add-On
Small Heat Pack (1 Gal)- $3.99
Large Heat Pack (3 Gal)- $6.99
Delivery Timeframes
Processing Time: Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days. During peak seasons (spring and summer), processing may take up to 7 business days.
Transit Time:
- Ground Shipping: 1-7 business days
You'll receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships so you can monitor your plants journey to your doorstep.
Cold Weather Shipping Policy
Tropical plants are sensitive to cold temperatures. To protect your plants during winter months:
- We monitor weather forecasts for your delivery area
- We highly recommend adding a heat pack to your order if your local temperatures are between 25°F and 38°F for protection during transit.
- We may delay shipments if extreme cold is forecasted
Your plant's health is our priority, and we'd rather delay shipment than risk damage from freezing temperatures.
Winter Shipping Notice
If temps are below 25°F, your plant may not survive the trip even with a heat pack. In extreme cold, you can add a note at checkout asking us to delay your shipment. If we believe it’s unsafe to ship your plant due to weather, we’ll contact you directly to discuss options or cancel the order.
Can't Find Your Package?
If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package:
- Check around your property, including porches, garages, and with neighbors
- Verify the shipping address in your order confirmation
- Wait 24 hours as carriers sometimes mark packages delivered early
- Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number
