Pink Hibiscus Plant Care
Scientific Name
Hibiscus rosa-sinensis
Light
When it comes to the Painted Lady Pink Hibiscus Bush, its sun preferences may differ from what you expect. In regions with northern climates, this hibiscus plant is at its best when it basks in full sun. However, if your location leans towards being hot and arid, providing partial shade can be a wise move. The key indicator of your hibiscus plant’s contentment is its consistent production of the exquisite pink hibiscus flowers. If you see blossoms regularly, your plant is thriving, and you should maintain the status quo. Yet, if the vibrant blooms are scarce, consider relocating the plant to a sunnier spot to encourage abundant flowering.
Water
Being somewhat thirsty, the Pink Hibiscus bush demands a steady supply of water to sustain its foliage and vibrant pink hibiscus flowers. The frequency of watering will be influenced by the specific climate conditions in your area, including heat, wind, and humidity. In certain cases, this might mean daily watering, or even twice a day during prolonged dry spells. Generally, this hibiscus plant flourishes with a weekly regimen of 1 to 2 inches of water to ensure the lushness of its pink hibiscus blooms.

Unreal! So many flowers on this plant!
This plant came as a nice size plant and seems to do fine. I planted it in my regular soil and very happy with the results. It was so nice to receive a plant from Etsy. That was actually a gallon plant and not a seedling hoping it will start to bloom soon.
